Garden Design Consultations

The garden design process begins with an initial Garden Design Consultation of between 2 – 3 hours. This is the most important stage when the client’s wishes are discussed in detail and the garden’s full potential is seen. A check-list of things to consider is sent out prior to the visit in order to maximise the time together.

As a new and innovative layout starts to take shape the client might make notes of any suggestions made or a detailed Consultation Report can be provided and used as reference to build the design.

Consultations are charged at £50 per hour  and a Consultation Report will cost £80 if requested.  If a Scaled Garden Design Plan is commissioned, the Consultation is free.

“Tiggy’s short consultation was very worthwhile at several levels: from identifying the overall feel of the garden linked to the style of the house inside and out, to detailed plant suggestions and helpful advice on ailing roses.”

The steps through the trees are made from old railway sleepers and bark for a natural look and make a more comfortable decent than the original steep grass slope.

During a Garden Design Consultation, Tiggy might help you to mark out new planting beds or an area of long grass on the lawn for bulbs.
When creating these new shapes it is very important to work with the lay of the land.
